HOW CAN I BE SAVED?

1. I must recognize that I am separated from God by sin.

1. I must recognize that I am separated from God by sin.

1. I must recognize that I am separated from God by sin.

We need salvation because we have sinned. Sin separates us from God who desires relationship with us. It is impossible for any man to restore that broken relationship with God by any amount of personal goodness, religious deeds, or by belonging to a church. We cannot earn, merit or achieve a right relationship with God by any amount of personal goodness, religious deeds, or by belonging to a church. We cannot earn, merit or achieve a right relationship with God by our own efforts. We must make a determined effort to change how we are living our lives, turning from our sin.

2. I must believe Jesus died to forgive my sins.

1. I must recognize that I am separated from God by sin.

1. I must recognize that I am separated from God by sin.

The death of Jesus was not an accident. It was God’s plan from the beginning to save us from our sins through the death of Jesus Christ. The Bible calls God’s act of love, grace. His grace is His gift to us.

3. I must enter into a covenant relationship with Jesus.

1. I must recognize that I am separated from God by sin.

3. I must enter into a covenant relationship with Jesus.

The way we receive His gift is by entering into a covenant relationship with Jesus by placing our trust and faith in Him. When we decide that we will follow Jesus for the rest of our lives.

4. I must be immersed in obedience to Jesus.

4. I must be immersed in obedience to Jesus.

3. I must enter into a covenant relationship with Jesus.

We demonstrate our trust in Jesus by obeying His command to be immersed (baptized) in water demonstrating the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
As followers of Jesus, we decide to follow His example and to do the things He asks of us. Jesus was baptized and told us to be baptized. (Matthew 3:13-17, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-16). Let us know if you have more questions or would like to schedule a baptism.
